OCP Announces ISO 13485 Certification

OCP is pleased to announce its manufacturing facility in Tijuana, Mexico has been certified ISO 13485 compliant by the British Standards Institute (BSI). The certification is the result of a concerted, 6 month effort culminating in OCP de Mexico receiving the first 'finding free', 13485 certification issued by BSI to any manufacturing facility in Mexico. OCP is a contract manufacturing service provider for cable assemblies and wire harnesses used by Medical Device manufacturers throughout the world. Although OCP has been manufacturing OEM medical cable assemblies for many years it can now provide its broad range of customers the added quality assurance that comes with a BSI audited certification. OCP's non-invasive product spectrum includes molded and assembled cables used in a variety of Medical Diagnostic & Instrument Cables. OCP Group has a well-established, quality product portfolio of Temperature (thermocouple) and Impedance measurement cables as well as Embedded Sensor cables.
